It started with one house on Sanibel.
In 2013, Brett Callahan watched his father’s new elevator corrode and fail less than two years after it was installed in his stilt home on Sanibel Island.
The equipment was fine — for a home in Ohio. Nobody had considered the salt air, the flood zone or the hurricane season. The salesperson had sold a product; no one had represented the homeowner. After a decade installing elevators in Florida’s towers and estates, Brett knew exactly what should have been done differently.
A year later he founded AboveAll Elevator Group in Naples with a single rule that still defines us: we are paid only by our clients. No commissions, no preferred brands, no conflicts — just expert, independent advice and the persistence to see it built properly.

A design studio opens in Palm Beach to serve the Atlantic coast’s estates and historic Mediterranean Revival homes.

After Hurricane Ian, AboveAll publishes its Coastal Resilience Standard for elevators in flood and wind zones.
